Important Dates to Remember

The recent 65th Anniversary Dinner Dance was a huge success. Having the club-room decorated and embracing so many Museum type war-chest artifacts was most interesting and highly informative.
Upstairs, the banquet room was decorated to the nines and I'm sure all members felt so proud whenever they entered to see such a wonderfully decorated hall.
The food, the roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious from beginning to end, and the soft orchestra music was very befitting such a wonderful meal, and special evening.
The highlight of the night was recognizing and honoring our many World War II Veterans and their spouses. Whenever the dance music started  these Veterans were among the first to take the floor. Indeed a truly beautiful sight.
Everybody really enjoyed themselves, it was great to see and connect up again with many of our older friends and Veterans.
Our heartfelt "Thanks' goes out to President Roger Carlsen and his entire dedicated team of executive officers who planned and executed a remarkable evening of special remembrance for all of us.
Thanks also go the great chef and his team, as well as the many fine young Army Cadets who gave of their time to serve us all evening in style
Members of the Markham District Veteran's Association are very fortunate to have so many willing Volunteers ready to serve and benefit the club. I'm looking forward to another 65 years.
